Accompanied the PD classes on an outing to Byculla Zoo at Mumbai City. The ride to the city took nearly 3 hours due to the usual Mumbai bottlenecks everywhere. The students enjoyed the ride in the SIS bus though. The zoo was nothing compared to our Spore zoo, similar to the one in Bangkok where the Greenview STEP and Twinning students went to in June this year.

There are few animals there. Whereas the animals in the zoo at Bangkok were livelier, the ones here were either sleeping or lethargic. There was a large aviary where the birds flew freely. The kids love to watch the storks, pelicans and emus. The return trip was smoother as it was non-peak.
Once back in my room at SIS, the teachers pounded me on their papers for final vetting and printing. So it was back to work and was glad to have vetted all the format for most of the papers for Years 7 and 8 and some PD Maths papers.
