Students on msn tell me that the Add Maths Paper 1 was easy...hahaha, 4E1 and 4E2 if you are reading this, good for you all....looking forward to your As come January, 2008!

CA assessment week for SIS.

Took Mr Chander through on Scheme of Work for Sec 3 and Sec 4 and Maths and Add Maths as well as the resources used by singapore schools in Maths teaching. He had shown interest in improving his teaching pedagogy and methods of delivery for Year 9 and IB mathematics. Later in the morning, introduced him to Mr Suparman.

Sheela from Heymath visited SIS. Met with Mike to look into feasibility of SIS using the lessons. Set up a meeting with Year7, 8, 9and 11 teachers for a demo and discussion on using heymath. Strangely, internet access in the classroom was superfast today. It was real slow when teachers were trying to use these lessons a few days ago. Teachers were glad we are attempting to get this resource for SIS after Sheela showed the use of heymaths in class teaching and how students can benefit from the portal..

Mr Suparman Adam put forward an organisational structure for SIS and held discussions with Mike and Nilesh later in the afternoon.

Quite frustrated later in the afternoon when laptop was not able to connect to the internet. It kept giving error message 619: connection could not be established or that the comp port is closed. Tried to fastconnect again but the same problem occurred - comm port is closed! Called reliance support centre but was unsuccessful to get operators to help as they wanted certain information which I did not possess - MDN number, data card purchaser, etc. Exasperated, I gave up calling support. Kept checking and then all of a sudden, connectivity returned.
Spent time chatting with Bryan and Lynda on msn.
